  12. <p>Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0b1's Java™ support is based on a new technology from 
  13. Apple, the MacOS Runtime for Java™.</p>
  14. <p>Unfortunately, since the final version of MacOS Runtime for Java™ hasn't been released 
  15. by Apple yet, it can't be shipped with Internet Explorer 3.0b1.</p>
  16. <p>If you wish to experiment with Java™ Applets and Internet Explorer 3.0b1, you need to:</p>

  18. <li>Download MacOS Runtime for Java™ from Apple's developer site at 
  19. <a href="http://www.devtools.apple.com/mrj/">http://www.devtools.apple.com/mrj/</a> and install it.</li>
  20. <li>Enable Java™ support in Internet Explorer 3.0b1 by opening the <strong>Options</strong> window, 
  21. clicking the <strong>Web Content</strong> tab, and verifying that the <strong>Java</strong> checkbox is enabled.</li>
